LOVE is the most powerful emotion we have. We must draw love from the right source to experience true love.

According to the Bible, the only thing that really matters is LOVE. Without LOVE we can accomplish nothing. In other words, we can achieve everything with LOVE.
Challenged to grow in LOVE? Nothing is impossible with Love or a better way to say it is, anything is possible with Love. I have traveled on this "love" road for almost half a century. Love is powerful. Love has no boundaries or limits and it's way never fails. When I fell in love with the author of Love, Jesus Christ and asked Him to reveal His Love to me... He sure did! Jesus reveals His deep, agape(unconditional) love through the greatest love story ever told in the Bible. We are deeply loved! Truth. Start in the Bible in the Book of John. What a love journey! Our story is still being written and so is yours. There is purpose in our pain, and God's plans for us are good, full of promises, hope and victory. We must trust God's heart, where true love comes from and surrender to Him, to receive pure love. It is only after we receive this love, that we are able to give it to others. This unselfish act of love ignites authentic joy and peace... and we all need more of that! The world is teaching it all wrong through: secular movies, social media, videos, advertising, current news, at our jobs and in our schools. During the mundane and everyday routines, we have thoughts and then we make choices based on those thoughts. We act the way we think therefore we become what we think. Our minds continually need to be renewed and filled with LOVE or it no longer grows. If you are not growing then you must be dying.

During the CHICKS LIKE US years, when serving as CLU Ministry Director, I heard story after story from chicks who struggle with some real deep stuff. Broad range of women's issues were addressed from divorce to all addictions to more controversial issues like; abortion, porn, depression and suicide. God broke our hearts for what break's His and somehow together we experienced LOVE... healing through songs, prayer, devotionals and testimonies. These chicks were learning how to turn their mess into His message. Real life stories. Miracle stories. Just ordinary women like you and me ...sharing their extraordinary stories and how they overcame their "issues" with God's help. You might be thinking, "I've got messes and issues and hormones and real life to address. There is no time left for myself! Personal care and personal growth are as vital as oxygen is to life. We must invest in ourselves! Our spouse, family and home are depending on us. Personally witnessed hundreds of emotional women brought to tears when they were asked to fill in the blank... "YOU are Beautiful because?" Most of us do not recognize our own value and worth. We see the flaws and not the beauty. We wrestle in our minds with our body and spirit continuously at tug-a-war with inward/outward beauty, or what we think "makes" us beautiful. Why? All women struggle with this, especially me.
In elementary school, I was extremely shy and introverted. I loved school and learning but my classmates bullied me regularly on the playground. That whole experience had profound affects on my self esteem, and shaping negative thoughts towards myself. Unhealthy thoughts. It was pitiful. My awkwardly different form did not fit in with acceptable. Shy, clumsy, lanky, knobby-kneed, freckle faced, pig-tails and a bucktooth overbite only made things worse!This repeated mocking on the school playground planted a deep root of rejection. I desperately wanted to belong then and still do. Even though it affects me after all these years, learning to trust Jesus as my best friend helps me overcome these unhealthy thought patterns.
These are deep questions we ponder and contemplate at some point, but most do not take the time to search, pray and wait for truthful answers. Through listening and praying with many chicks over the years, many do not see their beauty and worth when they look in the mirror. Chicks everywhere are disappointed and dissatisfied in many areas of life, especially the parts of intimate love and sex, enjoying motherhood, a peaceful home and having a healthier active lifestyle. Knowing your purpose, what you are created for, your spiritual gifts and your personal love language, Will Empower

The beauty and diet industry is worth hundreds of billions of dollars. The evidence is all around us. We desire to be beautiful. Our husbands desire us to be beautiful. We spend lots of money on our minds and bodies, but not enough is invested in our spiritual growth. The more we grow spiritually, the more our beauty and love grows. Ready... set... PRAY! Let's build faith, with wisdom from God and master our love language to improve our beauty. There is no fear in love. What is love? LOVE IS 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
LOVE is patient.
LOVE is kind.
LOVE does not envy.
LOVE does not boast.
LOVE is not proud.
LOVE does not dishonor others.
LOVE is not self-seeking.
LOVE does not easily become angered.
LOVE keeps no record of wrongs.
LOVE doesn't delight in evil but rejoices with truth.
LOVE always protects.
LOVE always trusts.
LOVE always hopes.
LOVE always perseveres.
LOVE never fails.
